IYTA has a commitment to the privacy and the security of our associations, members and those who visit our website. These privacy policies address the use of information about you and the relationship we have built together at IYTA.
IYTA collects personal information about its members during the registration process. Some of that information is automatically added to our online directory including first and last name, suburb, state, post code, contact numbers and website address. This is to make our yoga teachers contactable and reachable by potential yoga students.
We promise not to sell your personal information such as: your name, email address, billing or shipping address, telephone number, credit card numbers and any other personal information. We do store your billing and invoice information for government regulatory and auditing purposes. If you wish to be removed from the database, you may send your request directly via our contact us page.
Communications from IYTA
IYTA may use its members’ information to inform you about the status of your membership, i.e. renewing registration. We may offer products, services, events and other opportunities in relation to yoga by email, mail or phone calls. If you wish to be removed from our mailing list, click on the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the email or contact us.
Communications from Third Parties
IYTA provides an increasing number of member benefits including products and services that are useful and important in their well-being and in their careers as yoga teachers. This includes liability and health insurance and also discounts to yoga events. To provide this benefit to members and to communicate important related information to third parties approved by IYTA, we may provide your postal and email address to insurance partners. The content of the communication will be pre-approved by IYTA. If you do not want IYTA to share your postal or email address with any of our approved partners, please contact us.
