Travelling Yoga Teacher/Volunteer

I am an IYTA* qualified yoga teacher, insured as a health professional, with a Level 2 Workplace First Aid Certificate, who is travelling Australia and looking to contribute to the communities I visit..

If you are a yoga teacher who wants to take a break, needs assistance, or knows of others who would benefit from a yoga-trained volunteer, I would like to help.  I am not seeking paid work, although a pleasant place to park my self-contained motorhome would be appreciated if an extended stay is required.

I am presently travelling around the south west of Western Australia until September, planning to be in Adelaide/Mt Barker in October, and south eastern Australia (Canberra and Bermagui) in December and January.
If you think you could use my help, please email me at the following address.  (Note that I am often out of internet range, so may take a while to respond):

*International Yoga Teachers Association qualification gained in August 2010.  I have two years' experience as a teacher of gentle Hatha Yoga, suitable for a wide range of ages and fitness levels.

Help Karen O'Toole raise funds to build a village in Central Mongolia

Habitat for Humanity is the world’s number one not-for-profit provider of housing for low income families in need. Habitat for Humanity works in thousands of communities and has built, rehabilitated and repaired well over 400,000 homes, sheltering more than 2 million people. Currently, every 7 minutes a family has a better home because of Habitat for Humanity, its volunteers and partners.

I have joined a team as a volunteer and we will be going next June/ July 2012 to help build a village in central Mongolia. I need to fund raise a donation towards the build to finance the project. All money raised goes directly to the project. If you are able to help in this worthwhile project you can access the URL  http://www.habitat.org.au/karenotoole

Thank you for your consideration,

Karen O’Toole  IYTA COM
