Requirements
for enrolment
- Age over 23 years
- Subscriber Membership of IYTA
- At least 3 years attending a Yoga class
- Sponsored by own qualified teacher - must currently be attending Yoga class and continue to do so during the course
Assessment
and graduation
To
graduate, students are expected
to:
- Attend
fully the 5 day residential
workshop
- Successfully
present 16 written assignments (1 or
2 per month)
- Undergo
and pass 2 written examinations, one
halfway through the course, and one
at the end
- Conduct
successfully, following guidelines
of the Course, a 1 1/2 hour Yoga class
assessed by two IYTA
examiners.
On
successful completion of the
course, students graduate with a
recognised teaching diploma and are
eligible to apply for Full Membership
of the IYTA.
